Astronomers Discovered A star that Ejects Massive Solar Storms

While studying solar system, Astronomers discovered a star bursting massive levels of Energy and charged particles. Star EK Draconis, Located several Light Years away from us is something never seen before by Astronomers in entire Solar System. Study was conducted by National Observatory of Japan. Star EK Draconis is approximately same as size of our Sun. But our Sun (4.6 Billion) is way too old than EK Draconis (100 Million). EK Draconis is relatively younger in cosmic sense.

Astronomers observed a Stellar Phenomena known as Solar Storms or Coronal Mass Ejection. This ejection consists of extremely hot charged energy and particles called Plasma. Plasma travels in entire space at several millions of KM/hr.

In some instances, Plasma can severely affect Earth and its orbiting Satellites. The new studies are afraid of how harmful can Plasma Bursts be. Plasma ejected by our Sun too has a capacity to destroy satellite technology of entire Earth.

In 2019, Astronomers observed a several stars that experiences powerful Super-Flares several times a day. Now, Astronomers are keen to find whether powerful super-flares leads to Solar Storms?

According to Astrophysicist Yuta Notsu of the University of Colorado Boulder, The Coronal Mass Ejection happens after the Star loose a flare and instability in Stars Magnetic Field. Super flares are way too bigger than our Sun we experience. This could a reason for emission of Solar Storms or Coronal Mass Ejection. But still we don't know.
Astronomers are studying Star EK Draconis with the help of NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS).
